Although 2024 is Coach Grimm's 19th year as a head coach, it is his fifth year as Head Coach at Travis High School.  Coach Grimm was head coach at New Philadelphia High School in Ohio for 10 years and at Cypress Springs High School in Texas for 4 years.  This is his 27th year coaching overall. 

Coach Grimm and his family moved to Texas in 2008 and helped Clements High School Baseball to two District Championships and a trip to Round Rock in 2011.  After a brief stay in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, he was fortunate to come on board at Travis as the assistant to Coach Rodney Hernandez. In his years here, the Tigers have advanced to the second round of the state playoffs twice and earned a District Co-Championship.

"I am truly fortunate to have the opportunity to lead the Tiger Baseball program," said Coach Grimm.  "We have a solid returning group of upperclassmen as well as good talent at the sub varsity level. There's no doubt our program should compete for district titles for the foreseeable future," Coach Grimm continued.
